Africa Provider Offshore Services – APOS is a Namibian Company dedicated to supporting the
Oil and Gas industry in the scope of our contract with an Oil & Gas operator. We are looking for the
following candidate:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Tubular Inspector:

Job Description:

• Assist in implementing processes and procedures to deliver high levels of services
  performance safely, without impacting on the environment and in line with the Vallourec
  procedures and QHSE rules.
• Support the inspection of OCTG products and services according to planning, ensuring
  their integrity during the inspection process in accordance with customer requirements
  and API & proprietary standards.
• Help maintain accurate job inspection records following company and customer
  requirements, including (but not limited to) pre-job toolbox talks, inspection reports,
  calibration of inspection equipment, technical specifications, reporting on rejects, and
  job traceability.
• Assist in maintaining tools and equipment in good working order and contribute to
  reducing overheads by maximizing the use of consumables.
• Welcome Customer TPI inspectors and ensure they work in accordance with Vallourec
  QHSE procedures.

Requirements:

• 2 years experience in a similar position.
• A technical qualification suitable for the position.
• Proficiency in English, Afrikaans, German and French would be an advantage.
• Technical aptitude.
• Computer literacy.
• Safety awareness and analytical skills.
